"The Comedy of Things" was an anthropological experiment that I organised in 2014 in collaboration with Morten Axel Pedersen, Copenhagen University.
The key question was: Can comedy be used as a method for exploring how anthropological knowledge is made?
Based on a limited set of ethnographic materials selected by themselves, twenty anthropologists collaborated in four groups to produce a creative commons comprised of textual and material products.
On the eighth day, the material artifacts were assembled in four flight cases and shipped off to the Museum of Cultural History in Oslo.
